Unni Hoel, a native of Norway was born into the world of music.  Her father played the flute and the violin and her mother was a  pianist. Unni began piano lessons at six and continued her music studies all the way to Oslo Music Conservatory.

     Unni’s career in music took a back seat to her marriage, children and emigration to the US, but wherever she went, the piano and music followed.

     Frequent moves with her husband and children brought her to different parts of the world, inspiring Unni to paint. She has exhibited and sold her work on two continents.

     In her later years, Unni turned to writing musical novels.  “My focus through life has always been music. I wanted to share with my readers the effect and repercussions of music that has affected my life.”

     Currently, the author resides in Marblehead, Massachusetts.
